The day my teacher introduced Carrie Mae Weens to my art class, I did not really like her artworks. But, to do this blog post, I need to find an interesting photo that was created by Weens. I really tried to find a photo that interested me, but I could not because I just did not like her portraits or artworks. So, I had a hard time finding an interesting photo. However, I had to find a photo by Weens, so I choose this photo because it created a great contrast and a focal point. The lady on the railroad track is standing in the middle, and it looks like a path that the lady wants to eagerly go through. Even more, the path is like a future path because the trees and the lady is just standing in the middle and the trees create a perspective of a faraway distance. Therefore, Weens' photo attracted me by my observation of a future path.
